Led by Love, Anchored in Faith

I couldn’t quiet my mind.

I was overwhelmed, anxious, emotional, trying to process a hundred thoughts at once. Ron and I were on the phone, navigating life from a distance like we’ve learned to do. I started unloading everything I’d been holding in the weight, the frustration, the unknowns. He listened with his usual calm presence, not rushing me through it, just being there.

I said, “No.”

That truth hit me hard. I realized I’d been doing all the talking praying out loud, crying out in frustration, asking for clarity but I hadn’t made space for God to respond. I hadn’t sat in the stillness long enough to hear Him whisper back.

After we said our I love yous, I crawled into bed, let the silence settle around me, and whispered,
“I’m listening, God.”

That night, I slept better than I had in weeks.

Not because the situation changed…
But because I did. I let go of the need to do and chose, instead, to be.
And in that stillness, God met me.

Faith Changes Love

I never knew how healing it could be to be led in love not controlled, not silenced, but guided gently back to peace.

Ron doesn’t lead with dominance or noise. He leads with presence. With patience. With wisdom that doesn’t try to fix, but instead points me back to the One who can. His leadership has shown me that real strength looks like humility. That faith isn’t just something we hold it’s something we practice in how we show up for each other.

Before Ron, I held onto control like it was armor. I loved from behind walls because I had to protect myself. But with him, I’m learning to love with trust. To rest. To let someone walk beside me and, when I need it most, gently lead.

His leadership draws me closer to God because it reflects God… steady, loving, full of grace.

To the Woman Who’s Still Waiting

If you’re praying for a love like this don’t settle.

Don’t convince yourself that silence, chaos, or half-love is what God has for you. The right person won’t just love you; they’ll lead you with faith, intention, and care. They’ll remind you of who you are when you forget, and they’ll point you back to God when your heart is too heavy to look up.

Do the work. Heal. Grow. Get so close to God that anyone who wants your heart has to go through Him to get it.

Because love like this exists. Not perfect but grounded. Intentional. Holy.
And when you find it, you’ll feel it in the peace that follows.

Let God Write the Story

I used to think I had to hold everything together the emotions, the plan, the weight of tomorrow. But now I know that some of the greatest healing comes from releasing control. From trusting that God’s timing is good, and that He’ll send the right people to walk with you when you need them most.

If you’re still waiting…
Wait well.
Listen.
And trust that the quiet moments even the ones that feel empty are where God does His best work.

You don’t have to do all the talking.
He’s already listening.
